THE 2026 GALA IS GOING TO BE OUR BIGGEST AND BEST YET!
Last year, your generosity helped raise more than $37,000 in a single evening. Over the years, Diamonds for Diabetes has raised more than $300,000 to support children living with type 1 diabetes right here in the Denver area. With that momentum behind us, we are thrilled to kick off what promises to be an incredible 2026 season.
This year’s kick-off party is scheduled, as always, on the last Saturday before Thanksgiving, Saturday, November 21st from 6 to 9 PM.
We will once again feature three Giving Trees filled with ornaments, each available with a $35 donation to the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. Volunteers from the foundation will be on hand to assist, and 100 percent of every donation goes directly to CDF. Thollot & Co. donates all gems and jewelry prizes, while CDF receives the full benefit to support Denver-area children and families in need of diabetes supplies and resources.
If you are unable to attend the kick-off party on the 21st, you can still participate. Ornaments will be available for donation in our showroom from November 25th through December 31st.
Join us as we continue a tradition that has already made a meaningful impact and help us make 2026 our most successful year yet.

Each year, our amazing team dives headfirst into a super fun mission! We load up thousands of ornaments with real gemstones and some sweet bling, and then we deck out not one, not two, but three Giving Trees with these fun little surprises. It all kicks off with the coolest event in town, where you can snag one of these fantastic ornaments for just a $35 donation to the Children’s Diabetes Foundation in Denver. Every single dollar you give goes directly to them via fancy iPads – it's like magic – and lands in their "Helping Hands" account.
But the real magic? It's the thrill and excitement our awesome guests get. When you grab one of these snazzy ornaments, you're not just being a light in a special kid’s world (which you totally are), you're in for an unwrapping surprise! Will you be the lucky one scoring a natural gemstone, like topaz or even a sparkly ruby? Or maybe you'll hit the jackpot with a stunning piece of jewelry to jazz up your life. All the jewelry prizes and gemstones dangling from our trees are worth over a whopping $15,000!
But that's not where the fun ends. We crank up the excitement with some silent auctions featuring bling-tastic jewelry pieces donated by us and some big-name jewelry brands who've got our back. As the night rolls on, the anticipation reaches a fever pitch, all leading up to the grand prize draw where one lucky person goes home with an epic piece of jewelry. It's like getting the golden ticket to the best party in town!
And the fun doesn't stop at jewelry. We throw in some delish hors d'oeuvres and tasty cocktails to make the evening even more of a blast. It's a night filled with cheer, togetherness, and good vibes, all in the name of an epic cause. Come join us in ringing in the holiday season with a party that's off the charts fun and start your season with the mega satisfaction of making a real impact on the lives of kids in Denver. Your support is the spark that lights up the lives of young fighters and their families. It's a win-win night for sure!
Want a Sneak Peek?
With over $45,000 worth of jewelry prizes in our giving trees wishlist drawing & silent auction, it is impossible to show all the goodies…but a little sneak peek will give you an idea of the kind of hidden treasures waiting for you!
How Did It Begin?
In 2005, a heart-wrenching reality unfolded in Joy and Troy's lives when their second precious daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. At the tender ages of 5 and 7, two of their three their little ones embarked on a lifelong journey battling this relentless disease. The Thollots quickly grasped the profound financial strain that came hand in hand with ensuring their daughters received the best care and had access to the essential equipment and prescriptions to sustain their lives. Despite their own blessings, their hearts ached for families facing not only the immense challenges that this diagnosis brings but also the overwhelming financial burden that accompanies it.
This profound awareness ignited the spark for what would become
the inaugural Diamonds for Diabetes fundraising campaign. In 2008, what initially began as a "ladies night party" expanded to include the
sale of small ornaments, each a symbol of hope and solidarity, to generate funds for families enduring the weight of T1D, yet struggling to afford the vital supplies. Over the years, their dedication and the community's unwavering support led to the transformation of this gathering into a full-fledged fundraising event, raising over $120,000 with every single penny channeled directly to the Children’s Diabetes Foundation at the Barbara Davis Center in Denver, where families in need are never turned away and are able to get the help they need.
